Who is Alex Rangevik?
I grew up in the University City, Uppsala, Sweden. At an early age I got really into building web sites, coded html and css stylesheets with my family's computer and hosted my sites with my 56K modem. Since then I've been hooked to learning the tech behind it all. It led me into Computer Science and Business where I got my MSc.
After finishing my university studies I got an internship at a creative web studio in Los Angeles, after that I moved to Copenhagen for a couple of years of the consultant experience at Accenture.
For the next few years I was doing UX for the biggest bank in northern Europe (Nordea), leading UX and Conversion Rate Optimization at the Social Media Management tool Falcon.io, and heading Growth Marketing at the #1 collaborative planning app Favro.
In 2018 I started my own marketing consulting business. Since then I've helped over 100 companies with growth marketing strategy and tactics.
Since I went solo I grew a Growth Marketing community to over 8,000 members consisting of founders and marketers from some of the best brands.
That propelled my consulting business and now I get more clients than I can handle and only pick up the ones I really like and want to work with.
